This season, whilst continuing to play at semi professional level for Oberliga Nord side Altona 93, Hanke will now be responsible for managing Scout7's various relationships with existing client clubs in Germany and Austria as well as introducing the technology to senior officials and scouts working at other clubs in the region.
And as well as highlighting the various benefits the ProScout7 technology has to assist the management of a club's scouting and recruitment process, Hanke will also be responsible of presenting the new ProSquad7 solution to German and Austrian clubs in the Autumn.
The solution, which has been developed together with leading clubs in Germany, England and France, will provide clubs with an internally managed system that brings together all player and team information within a club centrally into one solution, covering coaching, training, fitness and medical data for both academy and senior players.
And whilst looking forward to prolonging his playing career, Hanke is looking forward to extending his personal involvement in football with Scout7 for many years to come.
"It was always my ambition to play football at the highest level and I have been very lucky to have had a number of years as a professional with some great clubs, world class coaches and world class players," explains Hanke, who has made over 60 appearances in 1.Bundesliga during his playing career.
"And while I am delighted to continue playing this season, I have also been conscious of the importance of look forwarding to other opportunities in the game once my career finally comes to an end.
"I know through a number of my contacts that Scout7 is becoming a really important solution to scouting departments at clubs, not only in Germany but around Europe and I am grateful that I have been given this opportunity to represent them in Germany and Austria.
"In the coming months I am looking forward to present the technology to clubs across Germany, who I am sure will recognize how Scout7 can improve the management of their global scouting information and the monitoring of young and established players on a day-to-day basis."
Scout7 Managing Director Jamison is pleased that Hanke has joined the ever expanding Scout7 team.
He believes his appointment will improve Scout7's level of service to client clubs, as well as improving the company's profile within German and Austrian football.
