As the 2009/10 domestic league programmes start to gather momentum across Europe, Scout7 has teamed up with the organizers of Leaders in Performance to give client clubs the opportunity to attend their annual UK conference as guests of the company.
The event, which is being held at Stamford Bridge on Thursday 8th October, already has well over one hundred confirmed attendees, including various Chairman, Sport Directors, Technical Directors and Managers from clubs all over the world, in addition to a number of solution providers that have introduced pioneering initiatives to aid performance over the past decade.

The conference programme includes speakers from a wide range of sports including cycling, tennis, athletics, and basketball in addition to football, who will be discussing various issues based on enhancing sporting performance and sustaining success at the highest level.
Speakers from the football industry include Bruno De Michelis, the founder of the internationally acclaimed Milan Lab, Chelsea Performance Director Mike Forde, Real Madrid's Head of Performance Valter Di Salvo and St. Etienne Sport Director Damien Comolli.
And as part of Scout7's link-up with Leaders in Performance, client clubs will be entitled to a 30% discount off official delegate passes to the event.
It will enable senior club staff responsible for the sound, long-term management of the playing staff to meet and share ideas with leading figures from different sporting backgrounds.
They will also be able meet with various federations, international corporations and media outlets attending the Leaders in Football event, which is taking place simultaneously at Stamford Bridge.
Forde, who was previously Performance Director at Bolton under Sam Allardyce before joining Chelsea two years ago, believes that the event will offer interesting insights into the processes advocated by different sporting institutions to manage athlete and team development.
He says: "Having spent the past eight years working in elite professional football, I believe there are plenty of good practices you can learn from other environments, whether it be in sport, business or education, which can benefit the long-term performance of your own players.
"Leaders in Performance will allow us to gain a new perspective on how performance managers in both football and other various sports look to adopt strategies for both individual athletes and collective teams, to ensure they give themselves every opportunity of achieving their ultimate goals."
In addition to focusing on maximizing the performance of athletes on the field, the conference will also be addressing the importance of sound squad management and recruitment of players, based on the budget a club operates on.
And with clubs in sixteen countries currently using Scout7 technology to assist in the management of these processes, Event Director Andy Rice believes that Scout7's involvement in Leaders in Performance was important to highlight how web-based applications are changing many working practices in the modern game.
"Scout7 are working with clubs from all around the world and are the clear leader when it comes to assisting a team in evaluating the player market, identifying changes in recruitment trends and the management of all internal scouting strategies," he explains.
"As a result of their position as pioneers in the professional game, we are delighted to invite senior executives from Scout7 clubs to our event at a discounted rate.
"With over one hundred confirmed delegates already, in addition to high-profile speakers with outstanding track records across a wide range of sports, I am sure many of these clubs will take up this unique opportunity to meet with various leaders in the business of football to discuss the identification and development of talent."
